Animal Name: Bottlenose dolphin

Dear bottlenose dolphin.
What are those pointy things on your body?
Those aren't pointy things ,they're fins. I use them to swim away really fast when predators try to attack me and sometimes i have to dive as deep as 915 metres.

Dear bottlenose dolphin.
Do you have any ears?
Excuse me of course I have ears! You can't see my tiny ears but they are very useful to find food to eat. When I find food with my ears, it is called echolocation.

Wow! Isla I love that you have used humour to answer for the Dolphin - I could imagine that that is exactly how the dolphin has replied. I also really like your drawing of the dolphin. I feel like I know a lot more facts about the bottlenose dolphin. Awesome effort :o)

  2. You have used many different simple and compound sentences to do your questions and answers. The beginnings of your sentences are all varied and you’ve chosen a good variety of vocab.
